Welcome to Little Elms Crofton, located just 500 metres from Orpington Station.
Our nursery is a caring and well-equipped haven for your little ones. Once a doctor’s surgery, our building has been carefully refurbished to provide a nurturing space for early years education.
Established in 2011, Little Elms Crofton proudly holds an ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted. Our experienced staff caters to the needs of babies on the first floor, while fostering a dynamic environment for toddlers and pre-schoolers on the ground floor.
Each age group enjoys their exclusive garden space – a special area for our babies and a larger shared garden for toddlers and pre-schoolers. Brace yourself for some messy fun at the Mud Kitchen situated at the back of the garden, where older children can explore and play in groups.
At Little Elms, we’re committed to creating an enriching atmosphere for young learners. Our carefully crafted curriculum ensures active participation in engaging educational activities at every stage. From weekly Yoga for babies and toddlers to sports coaching for pre-schoolers, we go beyond the classroom to enhance the learning experience.
Our qualified Chef and Kitchen Assistant collaborate to provide nutritious meals crafted from locally sourced, organic ingredients. We prioritise a balanced and nutritious diet, incorporating fresh fruit daily.
To broaden your child’s horizons, local trips are an integral part of our curriculum, offering fresh perspectives and a broader context for development. We even have a 6-seated buggy for exciting excursions to local walks, the train station for train watching, and nearby shops for ingredient hunting.

Meet the Manager
Little Elms is a supportive community where I’ve flourished both personally and professionally during my 11 years of dedicated service.
My passion for early years education stems from my role as the eldest among siblings and supporting my brother with additional needs. As the Nursery Manager, finding joy in interacting with the children and prioritising staff training is crucial for creating a thriving environment.
Little Elms Crofton recently achieved a Good rating in an Ofsted inspection. Moving forward, my focus is on implementing recommendations and revelling in the success of each child.
Beyond the nursery, my family includes a son, a daughter, four nieces, and a nephew. Engaging in family activities and exploring warmer destinations are some of the joys I cherish outside of work.
